One of the avant garde designers who defined the landscape of mid-century modern design, Tjerk Reijenga produced many minimalist and industrial looking shelving systems that provide ample storage space without sacrificing their stylish appearances. He also designed other furniture such as sofas and chairs; many of his designs are marked by the use of metal, primary colours and geometric forms as well as a sense of airiness.
