The Treasure House Fair 2024: Stand 106

27 June - 2 July 2024 Art Fairs
Overview
3812 Gallery is delighted to participate in the second edition of The Treasure House Fair. Our presentation features a curated selection of works by renowned modern Chinese artists. This includes the acclaimed post-war abstract artist Hsiao Chin, whose works can be found in prestigious institutions like M+ and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We are also showcasing the internationally recognised Paris based Chinese artist Ma Desheng, who held a solo exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in 2022. His works are part of renowned collections such as the Centre Pompidou, the British Museum, and M+ in Hong Kong.

Recognising the significance of ink art, we are presenting works by Hong Kong artist Raymond Fung, whose creations are included in notable collections like the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Alongside him, we feature paintings by the Nanjing-based artist Liu Guofu, whose works are part of prestigious collections such as the MGM Chairman's Collection in Macau and the Shanghai Art Museum.

The core of our presentation explores our curatorial vision of "Eastern origin in contemporary expression." This notion acknowledges cultural identity while celebrating groundbreaking artistic ideas that distinguish the gallery's offerings. The objective is to showcase Eastern identity within an international artistic language, accentuating the transcultural essence that emerges from this dynamic intersection.

Aligned with our 3812’s commitment to nurturing young talent, a dedicated area will feature dynamic works by emerging artists under our new initiative, YA! YOUNG ART. Through this platform, we aim to provide opportunities and enhance the visibility of these up-and-coming creators, celebrating their exceptional talents within the esteemed framework of The Treasure House Fair.
