Art Paris 2025: Ma Desheng and Li Hongwei: Stand G4

The gallery will present a meticulously curated selection of works by two internationally recognised Chinese diaspora contemporary artists: Ma Desheng (b. 1951) and Li Hongwei (b. 1980). Ma's paintings, placed in dialogue with Li's installations will engage in a discourse on figurative art within the showroom. The mirror-like vessel in Li's work will reflect Ma's "woman" into a more diminutively abstract form, deflecting them onto the walls to echo with the original paintings, forging a visual and thematic cohesion between the two.
