Re:Collection: London

Re:Collection brings together a group of artists who have expanded the horizons of contemporary Chinese art practice. The artists demonstrate a huge diversity of styles and contemporary approaches, using a range of disciplines and techniques from Chinese ink and coffee on paper to acrylic and oil on canvas. Their works are both contempory and forward-looking, yet grounded in Chinese painting traditions, honouring the spirit of the 'Four Treasures of the Study' (the ink, brush, paper and ink stone) whilst forging new paths of exploration in techniques and materials.
