To create a poetry with porcelain, Li Lei restructures traditional visual elements to form rhythmic artistic figures embodied with a natural spirituality.
Using an experimental approach of freeform shaping, and crafting and painting the porcelain by hand, Li discovers his very own poetic expression of life and rhythm of nature. The conflict between the traditional medium and the innovative approach gives a unique sense of intrigue.
