Art Investment Expert, 3812 Gallery Co-founder & CEO, Mark Peaker Featured on Ta Kung Pao

Our Hong Kong Foundation held the “Our Hong Kong Stories” series event on 26 April, inviting Mr Mark Peaker, Co-founder and CEO of 3812 Gallery in Hong Kong and London and Chairman of Shakespeare4All, as speaker to share his experience in Hong Kong.

The event received prominent coverage, with a full-page article on A3 in Ta Kung Pao. This extensive media attention effectively highlighted the core messaging of OHKF's "Our Hong Kong Stories" initiative.

When discussing the advancement of the integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Peaker believes that the flow of people within the Greater Bay Area and the increase in employment opportunities for young people will also expand the space for small and medium-sized enterprises to grow. "I think this is a good thing," Peaker pointed out. This not only promotes the integration and development of society and culture between Guangdong and Hong Kong, but the fierce competition also forces Hong Kong to enhance its adaptability and competitiveness. "An example of this is Hong Kong people going to Shenzhen to shop and dine on weekends." Nevertheless, Hong Kong is never afraid of competition and always manages to stand out in the competitive landscape. Peaker smiled and said, "As Hong Kong becomes more open, we need to seize this opportunity to build a new and unique Hong Kong. The government, entrepreneurs, the business community, and various sectors of society should work together to create a future that embraces change, promotes innovation, and showcases the unparalleled Hong Kong spirit. This is our Lion Rock spirit."
