3812 Gallery is delighted to present “En Route: UAL HK Alumni Group Exhibition,” a captivating group exhibition co-organised in collaboration with UAL Hong Kong Alumni Association. This exhibition presents an exciting collection of artworks by 12 talented young artists who have graduated from the esteemed University of the Arts London.
Featured artists include Ekkehard Altenburger (b.1966), Curtis Chan (b.1989), Joanne Chan (b.1992), Joice Cheung (b.1993), Jason Hui (b.1997), Jeremy Ip (b.1989), Doris Ng (b.1987), Gladys Ng (b.1998), Mizuki Nishiyama (b.1998), Heiyi Tam (b.1998), Novelle Wa (b.1992), and Jacqueline Yeung (b.1985).
The exhibition aims to address a notable gap for creative individuals who have pursued their studies abroad but aspire to establish their careers within Hong Kong's dynamic art scene. It serves as a crucial bridge, fostering connections between young artists and the local art community, while offering them a distinctive platform to flourish and thrive.
By bringing together a discerning selection of artworks by 12 exceptional alumni from UAL, this exhibition seeks to foster a rich cultural exchange and dialogue between international artistic influences and the local Hong Kong art scene.
“The development of UAL alumni within the art industry has been nothing short of remarkable. Our alumni have gone on to make significant contributions across various sectors of the arts, including fine arts, fashion, design, and more. Through their creativity, passion, and dedication, they have redefined boundaries, challenged norms, and set new standards of excellence in the art world. Their diverse perspectives and innovative approaches continue to inspire and shape the cultural landscape both locally and globally.”
